A pink, bug-eyed creature rises from the dune grass with outstretched arms, desperately trying to grab a passing seagull — a hopeless, hilarious attempt to make sense of its strange surroundings. With a hot air balloon drifting in the distance and a crooked beach fence behind it, the scene feels both serene and slightly off-kilter. Part of Josh Harnack’s Unofficial Collaboration series, this piece captures the absurdity of wanting something just out of reach — especially when you have no idea what you'd do with it if you caught it.
